Description

Our Blue Chai Latte is our take on a traditional chai tea.  This latte combines the amazing spices of cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, cloves, cardamom and orange peel. We’ve also added a little Blue Spirulina for a boost of super goodness.

Blue Spirulina is an extract from the more common blue-green algae, which is known as spirulina and has a deep green colour and a distinctive taste.  A compound called Phycocyanin is extracted, which is a light-harvesting, pigment-binding protein with an amazing bright blue colour.  This compound has been shown to have antioxidant qualities along with a host of other benefits – plus it has a much milder taste.

Our Blue Chai Latte mix combines chai spices with Blue Spirulina with unrefined coconut nectar, to create a delicious alternative latte with an amazing blue hue.

Our Barista Blends are designed to be added to hot or cold milk, either dairy or non-dairy.
